Maisha Foundation is a Ugandan community-development organisation working in the Bunyoro sub-region. We partner with families, schools, and local health workers to deliver programs that are practical, measurable, and rooted in dignity.

Empower a life. Save a generation. Every project we run — from scholarship funds to boreholes to annual medical camps — is designed to create durable, generational change in the communities we serve.
Where we work
Our field teams operate across Kagadi District and the wider Bunyoro sub-region of western Uganda. We are Kampala-registered, community-led, and accountable to the families who partner with us.
How we're funded
Maisha Foundation is funded by monthly givers, one-time donations, and diaspora partnerships. Every campaign has a public target and a public report. We publish an annual impact statement showing exactly where every shilling was spent.
